DIRECT HIRE: Seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator for a fantastic opportunity in Charlotte, NC..

Salary: $100K - $120K
Schedule: M - F, 7am - 4pm (office-based)

Responsibilities: 

• Review blueprints and project specifications to generate accurate cost estimates for electrical work on construction projects
• Analyze project requirements, identify value engineering options, and provide cost breakdowns to project managers
• Evaluate labor and material costs, identify potential cost savings, and analyze project requirement
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and suggest cost-effective alternatives while maintaining project quality
• Provide cost breakdowns and assist project managers with project execution and budgeting
• Develop accurate bid proposals for electrical projects, considering various factors like labor, materials, and project-specific conditions
• Answer client questions about electrical work, provide written briefs, and clearly communicate project cost estimates

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• Minimum 2 years' electrical estimating experience on Industrial and Commercial projects
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards is crucial
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical drawings
• Experience in developing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects
• Ability to analyze complex situations, identify potential issues, and develop solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations
• Experience with Accubid and Microsoft Office
