Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine set up, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex/automated manufacturing equipment, controlling and adjusting machine settings.
  • Ensure production, quality, downtime, and waste levels are managed effectively; conduct preventive maintenance and repairs, and complete changeovers.
  • Plan, perform, troubleshoot, and problem-solve maintenance tasks, including root-cause analysis for process or product exceptions.
  • Prioritize daily work assignments to meet production needs and department goals, ensuring accurate documentation of quality, safety, and maintenance records.
  • Schedule and complete preventive maintenance tasks and work orders; support installation, removal, debug, and start-up of equipment.
  • Monitor production lines and evaluate equipment performance for repairs and improvements, organizing and executing improvement projects.

Experience Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certificate and 2 years of relevant experience or 4 years of relevant experience required.
  • Relevant fields: Electrical/Electronics Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Mechanical Engineering Technician, Industrial Programmer, Electrician, Machine Builder/Repairer, Machinist, Refrigeration Mechanic, Welding Repairs.

Skills & Certifications

  • Strong time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical skills for troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and equipment specifications.
  • Flexible and adaptable with various equipment, processes, projects, or assignments.
  • Proficient in trades mathematics, calibration techniques, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Proficiency with PC usage including MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics aptitude, including multimeter usage, sensor technology, basic plumbing, power transmission, and basic machining.
  • Preferred knowledge in troubleshooting of industrial control systems, PLC operations, robotics, vision systems, mechanical design using AutoCAD or SolidWorks, SAP maintenance module, and skills in mill, lathe, welding, and bearing press usage.

Eligibilities & qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certificate with 2 years of relevant experience or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with a multimeter, reading schematics, and interpreting technical manuals.
  • Knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, basic plumbing, and power transmission.
