Exciting opportunity at Niskayuna Community Day Care Center in Schenectady, NY, US for a Teaching Assistant role. Come join us in fostering a supportive and educational setting for young students. • Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans for students.
• Provide personalized support to students requiring extra assistance.
• Ensure a secure and supportive learning environment for students.
• Help in managing classroom behavior and promoting positive conduct.
• Work collaboratively with other teaching staff to evaluate student progress and address individual needs.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in working with children within a daycare or educational environment.
• Proficient in communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Skilled in supporting classroom management and engaging students effectively.
• Possession of US Work Authorization.

About Company: Niskayuna Community Day Care Center is a small, not-for-profit organization that has been serving Niskayuna and surrounding area families for over 30 years. We are a play-based Center that focuses on providing a safe and healthy environment for children 18 months-5 years old to learn and grow throughout their day. We are currently running with four open classrooms but we hope to open other classrooms when we have more quality staff that we can trust.
